Mission Karmayogi
- Former Infosys CEO S D Shibu Lal was appointed as a chairperson of a three-member task force formed to help the government in bringing major bureaucratic reforms through its ambitious ""Mission Karmayogi"".
- It was formally known as “National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB)”.
- It was launched with the objective of enhancing governance through Civil Service Capacity Building in 2020.
Six pillars:-
- Policy Framework,
- Institutional Framework,
- Competency Framework,
- Digital Learning Framework (Integrated Government Online Training Karmayogi Platform (iGOT-Karmayogi),
- Electronic Human Resource Management System (e-HRMS), and
- Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.
NPCSCB:
- It is a New National Architecture for Civil Services Capacity Building.
Institutional framework:
- Public Human Resources Council (led by PM) to approve and monitor Civil Service Capacity Building Plans.
- Cabinet Secretariat Coordination Unit-: to monitor the implementation of NPCSCB
- Capacity Building Commission -- for the functional supervision of training institutions and facilities in preparation of annual capacity building plans.
- Special Purpose Vehicle – own and operate all the digital assets created for NPCSCB on behalf of the Government of India.
- Programme Management Unit (PMU) - provide Program Management and Support Services to the Department."
