International Day of Families
- Every year this day is celebrated on 15th May to focus on the issues pertaining to families around the world as well as pay attention to the social, economic and demographic aspects of the same.
- This year, the theme is 'Families and New Technologies'.
- This day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 to dedicate the whole day to families and appreciate their importance.
